Charles Treister, President of Beacon Realty Advisors, has nearly 30 years of experience working in Real Estate as a developer, architect, broker of investment sales and consultant. Mr. Treister, a native of Miami, is a third generation involved in Miami real estate and development. He has extensive knowledge of the Miami and South Florida market and local real estate community. With a background in architecture, development, and construction, and also extensive knowledge of real estate finance, Mr. Treister has a comprehensive understanding of commercial real estate, which he brings to bear on every transaction.

Mr. Treister has been involved in the sale and financing of more than $600 Million in commercial properties in South Florida in all property types. Among his most noteworthy transactions are the sale of a 2100 unit apartment portfolio in Broward County, a sale and joint venture with Starwood Hotels, and the sale and financing of numerous office and development sites in Coral Gables, Downtown Miami, Miami Beach and Ft. Lauderdale. His clients have included Starwood Urban Investments, The Related Group, Investment Equity Associates, the Trump Group and Rubel Hotels.

Mr. Treister is also an accomplished developer and architect, and is the President of Treister Design & Development, Inc. His development and design projects include The Ponce de Leon Condominium, a 14 story mixed-use property recently completed in Coral Gables; the Anchorage, a single family home community in Coconut Grove; and numerous luxury single family home projects in Coral Gables, Miami, Pinecrest and Boca Raton. His home designs have won numerous awards and have been featured on the cover of Florida Architecture magazine. He was also involved with his father, Kenneth Treister, in the design and development of the Mayfair Shopping Center, a mixed-use, two-block project in Coconut Grove, and the Mayfair House Hotel, a 186 room, European style boutique hotel. These two projects were trend setting urban mixed-use projects, combining retail, office, hotel and residential aspects located in a 5 story building, organized around large interior tropical courtyards and situated over two levels of underground parking.

Mr. Treister's other well known architectural projects include Brickell Club, the Spa at the Bellview Biltmore Hotel, Hughes Cove, The Cloisters and with his father, Kenneth Treister, The Holocaust Memorial on Miami Beach.

Mr. Treister received his undergraduate degree in architecture, cum laude, from Princeton University, and his master's degree in architecture from M.I.T. He is a licensed architect and real estate broker in Florida. He is also a member of the Congress for a New Urbanism. Mr. Treister is a resident of Coconut Grove.
